Yes but NYC is not forecasted to see much different than normal weather over the next week or two. I think Friday evening the forecasts pulled this weather off of the eastern 1/3.

Lets see what they say later today.

Either way I think we should get below 1700 with just normal average between now and April 1. Europe is still very warm so LNG is going to be looking for storage capacity all year.

The sooner this mess moves east out of here and freezes the butts off the NYC traders the better!

John, that is part of the problem. If Jack Frost isn't nipping at Wall Street noses, it ain't cold.

Yesterday was one of the coldest days I can ever remember in Southern California. Barely got to 50 with lows below 30. Locals are burning lots of NG in their poorly insulated houses. Citrus growers are burning huge amounts of propane to try to save their trees from overnight frost.

People say CA is not important for NG usage. I don't know about that. 11% of US population and 11% of NG usage. This cold spell has to be spiking local usage significantly. I'm not looking forward to my next gas bill.

John

<<<<<Those of us in Oklahoma and surrounding states suffering through the worst ice storm in years with temperatures below freezing for more than a week are doing our best to use up all the NG we can possibly consume. The sooner this mess moves east out of here and freezes the butts off the NYC traders the better!>>>>

John, prepare for it to last a while longer. Southeastern Washington highs in low 20, lows to single digits for past week or so and predicted to last through next week. Sure taking a long time to move east.
