IMO, Barack Obama has the charisma that Bill Clinton has and the communications skills that Ronald Reagan had...I view Obama as "The Tiger Woods of American Politics" -- age and experience don't always mean much when you have SO MUCH raw talent. The pundits and insiders don't fully understand how much potential Obama has.

I think some Republicans are scared of Mr. Obama. Otherwise, why would they all be scrambling to question his experience and smearing him because of his middle name two years in advance of the election? I think he scares the wits out of them because he's a decent man with good ideas and the personal charisma to bring people on board to get things done. Obama also scares some Democrats, too. Some hard-line, left-wing liberals would much rather see Hillary Clinton in office than Mr. Obama because he understands that sometimes you have to move off the party line to get things done - and that this is a fundamentally centrist country. Obviously, the election cycle is long (too long IMHO) and things can change, but right now I feel like Barack Obama is the best hope we have to actually change the status quo.
