What gives you the right to decide what's best for another people?

What gave Saddam the right to decide what's best for them? Iraq isn't a single person or a group in automatic 100% agreement. Saddam imposed on them. Freeing them from Saddam's decisions, and letting them vote for their own government isn't deciding what's best for them and imposing it on them.
