I got the stew started around 3:15. It smells heavenly, but I think I should have made it earlier and just let it.......well....stew. It is a recipe I found in one of three issues of "The best of Bon Appe'tit." I used to make it a lot, and had forgotten about it until I ran across it again. Every once in awhile I look at their web site to see if they've come out with another issue. So far they are only publishing The Flavors or Keep it Simple or some other such. The Best of.....are great resources.
