Can you imagine an air strike on a U.S. household? I can't. We haven't had an ongoing series of coodinated suicide bombings on US soil... Yet.

I can't indeed...But I have a hard time hearing about suicide bombers either. I simply can't believe that there is any religion of peace that comes into a crowd and sets off a bomb killing innocent people all around. May they rot in pig fat. As far as being President is concerned, we have been mostly very fortunate in the people who have been President so far. FDR or Harry Truman, Ike, Reagan, Bush Sr, Bush Jr. Note I didn't mention in that group Clinton nor Carter. Both were just a disaster IMO. But looking at the current House, it might be that there are others who would follow in the Clinton/Carter mold...or worse.
