Try again, Al. You still haven't justified your "Not my war, not my responsibility" cop-out.

I wish I could say that but unfortunately I can't...

By advocating a pull-out and saying you never supported the war in the first place, you can place all of the consequences of "cut-n-run" on Bush and his supporters.

If you weren't so partisan and defensive you'd listen to baker's commision proposal (which is the murtha proposal) a bit more carefully. THere's going to be a fight in iraq, wether we want it or not...this all out fight is gonna happen sooner or later between the factions there. We can't stop it no matter how many soldiers we place there. When we leave or let up, there'll be a fight. Listen to murtha's proposal carefully...no one is cutting and running.

Kind of like people who advocate doing nothing just so they won't take responsibility for when something goes horribly wrong.

If i thought for a moment that the dems could stop this escalation by cutting funds, i'd be on board in a heart beat. They can't....supplemental funds to support 21K soldiers is a drop in the bucket compared to what we spend on the military. Listen to bush's inner circle...pay attention. Part of the contingent is in kuwait already
