Points well taken UPTICK. Personally though the producers are too expensive for me right now, having doubled from their recent rise since October.

I don't agree with you that the next best category is "explorers in area where we know there is grade...Athabasca." I rather have GEM with 20 mil grading 0.5 than hold NWI for example. After NWI's nickle spinoff all they would have to show as far as Uranium is concerned is hope, and "The Race" article which in my view was pure hype.

If a feeding frenzy starts in the Uranium market, as some of us expect, then all boats will be lifted. The best rewards may go to stocks where the market cap is low, with some U in the ground. Whether any of them goes to production or not is irrelevant IMHO. In early 2000 when biotech stocks went nuts over the "Human Genome Mapping," any stock dealing with genes went up ten fold...and nobody cared that the science would not materialize for another thirty years.

However, as you mentioned, this is a fast and unforgiving market. All those biotech stocks came back down to earth within four months. One has to be on their toes at all times, and in full view of the exit door.
