Bush ignored numerous pre- 9-11 warnings and did absolutely nothing to battle terrorism. He disbanded Clinton's effective counter-terrorism force and did not replace it. Rice the supposed "security" advisor did nothing against Al Qaida., The USS Cole was not avenged. Saudis in the US were givgen free reign under Bush. CLinton would have acted on the 8-6-01 warning just as his people did on the 1999 LAX boimbing warning. Clinton stopped that attack and went after Bin LAden in several countries with 150 Cruise Missiles and plenty of other resources. He did not act though until he had evidence that Bin Laden was guilty.
