Bush did not plan for the post-invasion either. Even if you accept their rush to invade and lie to the American People, congress and the UN, they failed to prepare for any of the problems experts warned them about, experts including John Kerry I might add.

Got to agree with you here. He sure could have done a better job. Nevertheless, he achieved the primary goal which was to remove Saddam's regime from power. And in that small and limited objective he did extremely well.

All the independent study groups agree that neither Saddam, Uday or Qusay are likely to rule Iraq for the next 20-40 years as they might have had GB not been able to remove him.

Rather than remain a hell on earth under the rule of the Hussein clan like NK under the Kim clan for the next 40 years, Iraq has a chance to grow into someplace that a normal person might want to live. Lets hope they can get their act together and make something of their country.
