Sounds like yall are all set and ready

I just got home. I had to stop off and get some more bottled water and gas for the generator.......just in case. The water we'll drink and the gas we can use in one of the cars so that won't go to waste. We found out not too long after we moved in here that our side of the neighborhood has more power outages then the rest. No one seems to know why that is but everyone up and down the street say it happens all the time.

When we had that flood a few months back, the power went out and we cranked up the generator. We made met a whole lotta new neighbors that day.<g>

I have to tell you about when I lived in Louisiana, everyone told me an ice storm was coming to go out and wrap my pipes...I'd never heard of such a thing, but I took out an old quilt and wrapped the pipes. My neighbor came over to see how I'd done, and I told him everything I'd done, so he checked the pipes.

He said, "fine, but you wrapped the gas pipes."
