If Bush means the 21st century, then its only accurate if 1 - He's talking about the wider battle against Islamofacists and terrorism, and 2 - The 21st century is a lot more peaceful then the 20th. If he means the 21st century to this point, then his statement is literally true but not very meaningful. If he means the century meaning starting 100 years before he made the statement then yes Bush's statement was over the top. As usual you manage to get lost in sideline detail... Al
