One more post on energy and then I'll leave it alone..

<opinion/rant> Of all the stupid and destructive policy decisions that the pols come up with (and there are plenty of examples), none come close to the damage they have done, are doing now, and will be doing in the future in regards to energy. And the almost criminal disregard they show for the real world consequences of their stupidity.

They cut off production sources (off shore and ANWR), they place financial and regulatory impediments and remove incentives to develop domestic areas that are in play. They mandate reductions in energy sources that work while also mandating fairy tale alternative sources that are decades away from becoming viable, if ever.

I'll borrow Bob Dylan's words to sum up my feelings regarding the ramifications of these policies...

it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall...
