You mean Ford. What do you mean "push through"? We had assets in the area, especially air power. He could have ordered support, he chose not to. Now there are some who make the claim that was part of the agreement that Kissinger made to end the war during the peace talks.

The aid cutoff was economic aid, not military. At least get the facts straight.
