The internet has leveled the playing flied. It used to be only Republicans that were held accountable for their words (by the liberal media). Now democrats are starting to be held accountable, and they don't like it. There are plenty of people who would never contribute to a PAC that are willing to post about scumbaggery on the internet. Witness Dennis Kusinich's surprise announcement that they are going to try to implement a new unfairness doctrine that only affects the moderate and conservative media.
