Mother Earth has many feedback systems to mitigate the effects of global warming. Of course they aren't understood very well or even identified yet.

Which of course means we don't understand global warming very well either.

Which also means...consensus my ass...consensus of what?

A consensus of damned fools perhaps.

If there is a consensus on global warming then how come there isn't a consensus on the effects of cloud forcing which helps mitigate it? Cloud forcing is a cooling effect x5 times larger than the effects of Direct Greenhouse Forcing.

Consensus LMAO!

The difference of -20 is called the net Cloud Forcing at TOA. It represents a cooling which is 5 X as large as the Direct Greenhouse Forcing! This dramatically shows why clouds are so important. Again, though, how the Earth would respond in order to eliminate this imbalance is unknown. Uncertainties in how clouds will change are a major source of disagreement between current climate models. The variety of models now being used show that clouds might as much as double or halve the amount of warming that would otherwise occur if cloud properties were fixed

Maurice, you must be long aluminum! lol

Cover the desert with aluminum foil? Do you want to blind the birds or just cook them in flight?
