Thursday January 18, 9:20 am ET

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Earth Biofuels, Inc. (OTCBB:EBOF - News) today announced that the company was featured in the weekly PBS program, "NOW", hosted by David Brancaccio. The segment includes interviews with Willie Nelson and Earth Biofuels' Chairman and CEO, Dennis McLaughlin. Additionally, it highlights Earth Biofuels' and the renewable fuels industry's continuing commitment to reduce America's dependence on foreign sources of energy by providing domestically produced, clean-burning sources of energy.

"We are proud to be a part of the PBS program 'From Plow to Pump'", said Dennis McLaughlin, Chairman and CEO of Earth Biofuels. "Earth Biofuels is working to reduce our dependency on foreign energy by providing domestically produced, clean-burning renewable fuels for our nation. We believe strongly in this industry's ability to have a significant impact on our national security, environment, and American farmers. We believe there is a great deal of educational value in this segment and appreciate PBS's work to continue to educate on this important emerging technology."

David Brancaccio, host of "NOW", stated: "Lately there has been a lot of talk about the importance of alternative energy sources in reducing America's dependence on foreign oil. We wanted to address that issue. However, many alternative energy projects are still in the research stage. Since Earth Biofuels is actually marketing a retail product, that gave us the opportunity to look at a real-world example."

The program aired on Friday, January 12 on PBS and can be viewed at pbs.org along with an extended interview with Willie Nelson at pbs.org. The program may be re-broadcast in local markets.

Earth Biofuels' BioWillie® brand is on biodiesel pumps that are currently located in seven states, including California, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. BioWillie® is a blend of biodiesel and petroleum diesel. The biodiesel is made from oils such as cottonseed and soybean.

Now I would assume that this would NOT reflect the NS's... those being "naked" by definition. And I would also suggest that folks who sold into the shorts, think that the fuel is made of corn ... It's made from Soy ~
