I think he's illustrating how higher taxes rates do not directly translate into higher tax revenues. By the way, I love the Darwinistic argument saying that if higher taxes kill a business, that business didn't deserve to survive in the first place. Talk about the best way to ensure that big businesses like Wal-mart have even less competition. Tenchusatsu
