This is a Siamese even which I understand are not as a rule all that social. What kills me about her waking me every night is I don't feed her or clean her litter box or anything. Perhaps its because I comply and scratch her rather then launching her as the wife tends to do at that hour. In fact that is exactly what has happened, she has trained me well.

On another thread this guy was talking about training his cat to stay off the kitchen counter. I said don't kid yourself it's up there your cat is just training you not the other way around:)

When my one of our cats see a suitcase come out she is like a vulture waiting for it to be opened. Thank God she don't pee in it, but the minute it is opened she wants to get in it and sniff all around it and then curl up in it to sleep. Have not figured this out yet, but she must feel safe in being in it. Then again she might think I will pack around her and she will get to go with us and does not want to be left alone with the other cats when we leave. Our cats have such different personalities and it is fun to watch them react with us and each other.
