Yeah, I was hoping for some technical person to say something about what problems might be involved with putting an amp so close to all that digital stuff. I suspect EMR would be a problem, but don't know to what extent and whether shielding could solve the problems. In any case I suspect the amp would be the biggest problem in incorporating receiver functions into a PC. The rest of the stuff a receiver does seems to be what PCs are already doing.
