CJ, > Personally, this is something I doubt has ever happened. Once again, the higher taxes ALONE don't cause businesses to fail. But they do contribute to a harsh business environment and can sometimes be the straw that breaks the camel's back, especially when it comes to privately-owned small businesses. And even for successful businesses, the higher taxes will always be a drain on revenues that could have gone toward other things, such as improving the business itself, expanding the market, or even increasing the pay of the owners and employees.
