What do you base this on? The Travel Office is in the residential section of the White House. Those staffers can be fired for any, or even no reason. Such staff are routinely replaced when a new administration comes in. The Clinton's didn't need to concoct bogus charges to replace them, they just had to hand them a pink slip. Which is why this conspiracy theory is so stupid.

There's no need to defend them. They aren't the criminal element in Washington.
