Actually Jim Rogers is not very enthusiastic about gold. He thinks it will go up in price but not as much as other things.

He really missed out on uranium, however.

I think he is going to be very right on agricultural commodities. With so much corn about to be wasted on making ethanol, and the vagaries of other crops (bad wheat harvests in Australia, for example) those may go way up. DBA is an ETF just launched in recent weeks that tracks corn, wheat, soybeans, and sugar. I don't see how it can miss.
