A nice write up on ADM. The action on the stock was pretty bullish today. It's starting to trade like OSK did - a slow steady rise with not much volatility.

It's still the numero uno stock in my PF :O)

They believe it is based upon the American dollar sooner or later doing a swan dive.

This is year four of the imminent demise of the $ US isn't it?

Not ragging, just an observation.

He spent most of last week hiking to areas of the Andes at 14,000 feet and at that kind of height, you just don’t function

I remember F.G. Pickard president of Falconbridge died when on a site visit at their Colluhasi copper operation in Chile. He was a large fellow and not in good physical condition. A very decent chap though. It is interesting that the company medical Dr. was with him on that site visit. I believe the height was around ? 11000 ft.

I remember driving thorough the "Cerro de la Muerte" (pass of death??) in Costa Rica years ago on the Pan American highway at about 11,000 ft and feeling light of breath. My rental vehicle didn't perform well at that height either.
