Murray is right on this one. I agree, and as you know I think college is over-rated. The most successful persons in my family don't have it.

But college lets you screw around for a couple years while you figure out you want to do in life. Unfortunately, college leads you down the Dilbert path -- you're more likely to end up doing meaningless abstract BS in some featureless cubicle. I burned out on it after xx years and took early retirement. Now I'm thinking about getting some gig where I can do actual physical work of some sort. Buying old houses and fixing 'em up would be fun, except that we're at the wrong stage in the real estate cycle.
