The six defendants in the case deny charges of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause explosions in what is alleged to have been a near tragedy on the London transit system on July 21, 2005. Prosecutors say similar carnage was avoided on July 21 only because the group on trial made a mistake in preparing ingredients for the four bombs they are alleged to have made. The detonators exploded, but the main charges did not. The video, taken on a train near Oval station in south London, was played on the second day of the trial. It was said to show one of the defendants, Ramzi Mohammed, 25, boarding the train and allegedly attempting to blow himself and his fellow passengers up. The alleged bomber was later seen running up an escalator, chased by several members of the public, after the train reached the Oval Station.

More disturbing is the question, "Why does civilization continue to tolerate these pockets of hatred within their midst?" It's like embracing a cancerous tumor. That question strikes directly at the heart of the matter, it's a great question... People tend not to "get involved" even when they see terrorism, it would mean they would have to stand up and face their enemy, they would have to accept the responsibility of fighting to maintain their liberties... we've fought europe's fight for so long that now they expect us to do all the work for them this time around also... people tend to deny so they won't have to face it... this also applies to the home grown secular progressive dummycrat cowards, they think if only the terrorists could sing a few barbara streisand songs, hold hands, and toast marshmallows that everything would be better...
