He wants to be allied with Sadr and the Iranians then we need to get the F out and let them all kill each other. This is truly reaching the point that I see no way for this to ever work out.

This is very bad for Iraq to be encouraging Iranian incursions. Regardless of the religious affiliation, a country suffers greatly when their neighbor refuses to respect their sovereignty.
