But at least he is consistent (and so are you). What is bizarre is that most forecasters on Wall Street expect solid growth in '07 (just below trend) AND for the Fed to cut rates.

It seems to me that consistent views would be 1) the economy is solid, so rates will stay the same or rise ... or 2) the economy will soften, and the Fed will cut rates.
