You don't have a clue what you are saying when it comes to democracy

Its funny to see how stubbornly you are wrong.

I am usually stubborn when I am right.

Give them the venue free and it would still be difficult for them to compete.

You don't know that.

You think it wouldn't? The profit differentials between say the USFL or the Arena league and the NFL (and esp. between independent minor league teams, and major league baseball teams) are/where a lot more then rent for the stadium.

Starting a new team without a league wouldn't make sense. You could start it as an expansion team but that isn't the type of competition your looking for, just more of the same league. If you try to start a new league you won't have the reputation, organization, and media contracts the current leagues/teams have, no matter what your stadium situation.

I believe I said a competing league. If I didn't, then I misspoke.....its what I meant to say.

then you know that at current ticket prices and player salaries, demand has yet to be sated.

What would demand being sated mean? Many sports venues don't sell out, so in that sense demand is often sated. If there was so much extra demand at current prices the normal thing to do would be to increase prices even more.

Rarely, are there tickets available for NFL games. There are more tickets for baseball games but they play a lot more frequently.

No, because there are alternatives to those products. There is no alternative league playing NFL football in the US.

Just as there is no alternative company producing and selling Opterons or Macs. NFL football has alternatives like non-NFL football, and other sports.

That's not the same.
