Makes sense- if you had any money, and or some sort of skill, wouldn't you flee a civil war? I would. I'd probably flee even if I wasn't middle class- but much easier to go if you have a little cash.

Oh, forgot, Iraq having a democracy is no longer much of a concern. This will make it much easier to turn it into a solidly fundamentalist Islamic state.

Yep, that's what the US taxpayer was aiming to do.
