The only difference is that Hitler was initially successful in annexing every one of the countries that he invaded, whereas Dumbyasshole has screwed up every invasion so far (Afghanistan, Iraq) and is about to screw up one more time (Iran).

Another Friedman deadline approaches (Regressive Jonah Goldberg v. Juan Cole, who has been absolutely right-on about Iraq all these years) : "February 08, 2005 Anyway, I do think my judgment is superior to his when it comes to the big picture. So, I have an idea: Since he doesn't want to debate anything except his own brilliance, let's make a bet. I predict that Iraq won't have a civil war, that it will have a viable constitution, and that a majority of Iraqis and Americans will, in two years time, agree that the war was worth it. I'll bet $1,000" Essentially, Goldberg was saying, "Wait for 4 Friedman Units and see" (1 Friedman Unit (FU) = 6 months). So, let's see as we approach Feb 08, 2007... (a) There is a raging civil war in Iraq. (b) Its "Constitution" has no meaning outside the Green Zone. And (c) the vast majority of Iraqis and Americans agree that the brutal occupation of Iraq has to end. Three for three. How does Goldberg manage to get it right all the time?! LOL
