Juniper Content Deregisters Its Securities

On Tuesday April 21, 2009, 4:34 pm EDT

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Juniper Content Corporation (OTCBB: JNPC; "Juniper Content") announced that it has “deregistered” its securities by filing a Form 15 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) withdrawing the Company’s securities from registration under Section 12g-4(a)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (Act). While the Company believes, but cannot guarantee, that its Common Stock, Class W Warrants and Class Z Warrants will continue to be publicly traded “over the counter” and quoted by the Pink Sheets’ Electronic Quotation Service, it will cease being quoted by the Electronic Bulletin Board. The principal reason for the Company’s decision to deregister is the significant cost, in both time and money, of compliance requirements attendant to its registration and as a result, the Company’s Board of Directors does not believe it prudent to continue to expend the resources to keep its securities registered.
