Kids minds work a bit different then ours. My daughter was about 5 and we had just finished planting like 40 strawberry plants in this tiered bed we had made. Well the next day I'm filling the corn planter up with starter and she asks me what that is and I tell her starter which of course is followed by what is that. I said it makes the corn start quicker and grow faster. I should have seen the wheels turning but did not but I imagine you can finish the story as to what happened to our strawberries. She was so proud of herself too with the pile of starter carefully stacked on each plant:)

Did she know how to turn it on? Have you ever put a cup in the microwave that had a small bit of gold or silver on it, and see it almost explode?
