K,

The most difficult thing for me to learn was taking those losses quickly. Many books I've read state that humans just aren't wired to treat the markets the way they should and I agree. We tend to take gains too quickly and hold on to losers, 'it's a good company, they always come back'. Of course if you bought Dell 7 years ago at 55 it's probably a good thing if you have a day job <ggg>. I've been watching Motorola for some time now, it's gone just about straight down from 26 to 18 in a good market. Sentiment really negative, all the idiots on the Yahoo boards saying 'short it down to 13', etc. So I bought a stake in the low 18's, didn't hit it just right as it went a bit below 18 the other day, but I'm out this morning on the trade. It's hard to pull the trigger on this type of stuff, but the opportunities are there.

John

UBS also apparently downgraded Dell today, (PC biz softness), perhaps they simply looked at the recent chart <ggg>....
