The Dem controlled Congress and Administration made those same decisions during VietNam in their non-wisdom. Those decisions caused hundreds of thousands of deaths....perhaps millions.

Actually, it was Kissinger and Nixon who got us to abandon Vietnam. Nixon's speech on 1/23/73 began with, "Good evening. I have asked for this radio and television time tonight for the purpose of announcing that we today have concluded an agreement to end the war and bring peace with honor in Vietnam and in Southeast Asia."

The deaths following and directly attributable to that decision number in the millions. Amnesty International says 1.4 million in Cambodia alone.

but do we pay for that too, or do they?

They're the ones with the oil money, so I think they should pay. I think they should reimburse the USA for the entire expense of the war.
