OK, here's my latest PC problem. Somehow the crashing that that one disc caused has caused some lasting affect on iTunes. I've reinstalled iTunes 2-3 times and that hasn't solved it.

I used to be able to use iTunes to burn a music file, and simultaneously play an already burned file. However, since the big reboot scene a few days ago when I am using iTunes to burn music files I can't simultaneously play music files, regardless of whether I play them with iTunes, WinAmp or MediaPlayer. The playing song crackles and breaks and plays as if the CPU capacity to both play music and burn music simultaneously isn't there. But if I look at Task Manager/Processes, System Idle Process is around 40 or so.

Any ideas? It used to burn mp3 files and play already burned mp3 files without problem, but now can't seem to handle both.
