I'm in awe of the liberal mind. So much so I'm seriously considering becoming a liberal. Then I too can do away with those pesky things like facts, credible evidence & allowing others to draw their own opinions. Shucks, all I'd have to do is form my own personal, ideologically biased opinion & voilà! It becomes a rock solid fact that I can impose on everyone else by sheer force of will.

And all this time I've wasted my time gathering credible evidence, digging for facts & listening to rational discussions of the issues before forming reality based opinions.

Ya, I'm in awe of the liberal mind alright!

NOT!

I'd agree that, as is the case with most polls, the question could have been phrased differently; however, I don't agree with your take.

It shouldn't matter *whose* plan in Iraq succeeds, if success is really the goal. The concept of *NIH* guarantees a negative response to a question like your #2.

I'm no fan of polls and figure they are largely BS. However,
the blending of success with the President's plan yielded an interesting outcome in this case.

You can disapprove of Bush's plan, because you don't think its going to work, but if that's the case and you want the coalition to succeed in Iraq the proper answer to the question "Do you personally want the Iraq plan President Bush announced last week to succeed?" Is yes.
