They don't realize they are elitist pinheads. They still claim to believe that talk radio is a fringe phenomenon. Every time another conservative talk radio program gains popularity, they probably believe the market has become saturated and that the collapse of the entire talk radio universe is imminent.

Conservatives are more likely to be parents. Parents are less likely to offer their opinions in an unsolicited manner. This seems to explain much.
