Just a thought:

A lot of Americans can live on a lot less money if they would cut down on their smoking, drinking and other vices such as gambling, doing drugs, driving around unnecessarily and do some walking and exercising instead. Or if they would become non-smokers and teetotallers altogether. Then they will be healthier and will have more money to spend which they would otherwise have to spend on meds & related stuff. They will also do well to buy food in bulk and watch what they eat instead of compulsively or habitually buying and ingesting relatively costlier fast foods containing artery-clogging trans fats and undesirable animal growth hormones and preservatives.

OR move to some place, say, Costa Rica (a tropical paradise) where their money or even paltry social security will go a long way !!! LOL!

"give benefits to "illegal" aliens who have never contributed"

As I understand it, the guest worker bill before the senate would merely give credit to future legalized workers for contributions they made to SS before they became legal. This chain letter "petition" is a gross distortion. Typical of the anti-immigrant movement.
