You need to be in a very large city to run a very exclusive and pricey restaurant. Your market as a percent of the population is just too small.

The owners found that out.

What is interesting is that the principal owner has a background as a chef.

I don't think he was familiar with the marketing and management aspects of running a successful restaurant.

My take on it after having eaten there was the the food was excellent, but far too expensive. I'd heard other complaints that the servings were too small.
