hello c2, i am hunkered down enthusiastically, fearful in a delighted way, amusingly horrified that since beginning of the year i can hit a high watermark of +8.5% on a portfolio that is comprised for a good part of items not amenable to mark-to-market, and boring cash, but only to see humbling vaporization process bring me down to hovering at +2.5%

got a call from my broker's boss last night from the old world, whom i knew and for whom my wife is doing some executive recruiting for, and he asked me whether i am as bearish as i was when we met in early january

my responses, "yes, but i wish bernanke would just surrender and kneel" ... "the next round will be deeper, but perhaps less dramatic, and more psychologically damaging" ... "no single cb with localized jurisdiction can defeat global inflation, and fed cannot afford to raise rate, whereas no one can afford usd to fall ... conclusion, the game plan is as before, but in bigger tranche strength"

because i believe we will proceed along this tried and so far true script Message 15421566
