Personally i think things like sonograms shrinks the time period for acceptable abortions. Anyone who has looked at one has not doubt about the humanity of the life seen. I think we should concentrate on preventing unwanted pregnancies and thats where the right errs in their fight against birth control and support of unrealistic alternatives like abstinence. Somewhere there is a compromise to be had on abortion and stem cell which will have 70% support of the american people. And compromise doesnt lie in christian right or radical pro-abortion types on the left.
