you should ask why energy prices trend lower for the next year -- it isn't jus because we've had a warm winter.

it's because every hedge fund and speculator in the world is/was long energy. It's the least shorted sector in the entire stock market.

Specs are now getting hosed and exiting the positions. Do you think global oil consumption will decline this year vs. last? I don't.

I'm a longer term bear big time but I think bears lose a lot of credibility when they refuse to acknowledge real time facts and attempt to spin everything as negative.

Truth - the facts show otherwise but since he doesn't accept CPI based or corrected CPI based comparisons, this chart likely won't carry any weight with him.
