I think the WH chief of staff is a GS alumni and he recommended Henry Paulson to W. Out of 1 million decisions W had to make, there is only one correct decision, i.e. getting Paulsen to become his Treasury Secretary. I salute Paulsen since he had to forgo tens of million dollars bonus.
