For those of us seeking to be a step ahead of market forces, Nickel's 21% rise since the beginning of the year had a lot to do with:

"A union of more than 1,000 workers at Xstrata's Canadian nickel division voted Tuesday to strike when its current contract expires on Jan. 31 if a new agreement is not reached before then."

While the situation can get exasperated further if the union actually does strike, it appears in the short term the pendulum in the price of Nickel has swung to an extreme.

If the situation gets resolved, there will certainly be a short term correction in the price of Nickel. Those with substantial profits in Nickel stocks may want follow this story closely to take some profits and those who missed the Nickel train can look forward to getting on at lower prices, JMHO.
