The RIAA seems to value it higher than the satellite radio buying public. The Stiletto, sold by Sirius, has virtually neutered recording capability compared to the Inno, to satisfy RIAA. I see no evidence that it matters, and frankly, most people don't know the difference.

Once again, SIRIUS management has outperformed that lackluster XM group of bumbbeling dolts. Even at your own admission, you believe that most people don't even know the difference in the functionality of the units. However, for SIRI management and it's shareholders. It's water under the bridge.. The have moved on to other "management issues". While, for XM.. The cost of even more litigation still stands before them, (Maybe even more Class Actions) as well as management's attention. Of course it is a matter of time before XM will have to replace the offending units in the field with an updated unit.. At the companies expense of course.

While SIRI pays 150 million a year for Stern. It appears that XM is spending it's money on legal consul.

While, one can debate the financial effectiveness of the Stern Deal. There can be no doubt to the lack of effectiveness of the millions being spent in legal battles.

And so it goes,
