In a previous post Harris advised me that on Aug 13, 2002 ERICY was trading at $6.32-6.42 on NASDAQ. That's when I bought my holdings and they are now slightly over 40 on NAS.

For many stocks including PG and GE, and recently Verizon, there were spinoffs. If you do not keep accurate records (adjust the basis), how would you know that Merrill Lynch even does it right?
