Time for the thread to tackle the China issue. We have to come with the consensual picture what is China today, and inot what it will develop.

Not the BRIC thing that Goldman Sacks projected. Nor military might or relationship with Taiwan or Nepal and other trivial matters.

It's about time. Post-communist China is now almost 30 year old. So there is enough elements for us to project into what China will turn into.

I want to devote a few posts from now on to come out wit the picture of what's boiling in the background and are important issues that influences the direction China will take and eventually where it will land.

I hope our partcipants and the lurkers can contribute to the debate.
