re: I don't think it matters much. Even a limited strike would mean war, so might as well take down as much of their threatening assets as we can. Which is not to say this is a smarter solution, long term. All this crap for oil, a problem we could have solved 20 years ago. I wonder if the future history books will call these the "Oil Wars" that lead to the US downfall? If not for oil dependence we would think about the ME as often as we think of Madagascar.
