Of the three, I like Richardson. He's a Governor with great international experience. He's hispanic, but kind of a stealth hispanic, because he sounds totally whitebread, and doesn't have a hispanic name. He has respect from Dems and Republicans.

He's also short and somewhat lacking in charisma. I think he's got the best resume of the three, though.

Dems already get 90% of the black vote and most women. The big improvement over 2004 will be with Hispanic voters as we may improve from 60% to 75%. The GOP plans to push demonization of illegal immigrants as a big "winning" issue. But all Hispanics know it's a new way of exploiting racism.

OK, now we've got a woman (Hillary), a Black (Obama) and a Hispanic (Richardson) as Dem candidates. No woman, black or hispanic has ever been elected President before.

Not being racist, just wondering how these folks will play against Mr. Republican (white guy in a blue suit - white shirt - red tie with a flag pin on the lapel). Maybe things have changed enough; maybe not. It's not for nothing the Reps put in Mel Martinez as Chairman = they are looking to recapture the minority/Hispanic vote.

I know its not the politically correct thing to do but I have to vote for the person who I think would make the best leader and do the kinds of things that would give me a sense of accomplishment. I felt that way under Clinton even as I did not agree with some of his policies. I feel the say way about Obama. He inspires me like no one has ever done in the past. And I really do think the white blood in this country is tired and non productive. Hence I would rather vote for Obama than to vote for someone because its the politically smart thing to do.
