That is all clear in hindsight. I am less sure what Hillary would do in a foresight situation. Senators never have to take executive responsibility for anything to test them.

I will listen to her foreign policy comments closely to see if there is a real plan there, or just a string of cliches like most candidates string together.

It will be interesting to see if Dick Holbrooke ends up in her camp or not.

She would have gone into Iraq if they had WMD and had links to AQ. However, she would never have made up stories about Iraq's WMD program and AQ links and therefore would never have actually invaded Iraq.

That matches my memory. It's not that she voted for the Bush preemptive invasion policy but rather for a more diplomatically nuanced version of containing Iraq, in which an invasion was one possible instrument.

Not good enough. There where some who felt it was unwise to open another second war front while we were still fighting in Afghanistan. That of course was the course of wisdom! .........Even giving her a pass on that, what would she do now about Iraq? After all, that's what the next President will need to come up with a solution for. If Hillary doesn't want to increase troops and doesn't want to now exit - then she is pretty much going along with the way things are right now. The voting public will NEVER go along with that.
